Dawn of Discovery is conveniently located off of Highway 169 in Elk River, and provides a full range of childcare services, including infant care. With early drop off and late pick up times available, you can feel comfortable going to work or school knowing your infant, toddler, preschooler, or school-age child is safe with our passionate and dedicated staff. All Directors, Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Aides are CPR and First Aid Certified as well as trained in key child safety issues. We also take your child’s everyday health seriously with our daily cleaning of all classrooms, including a thorough cleaning of all toys. We are proud to offer healthy meal plans and fitness classes for our toddlers and school-aged children, plus school readiness activities appropriate for your child. With regular communication to families, keeping up-to-date with your child’s activities is EASY! For preschool and school-aged, this includes daily communication at drop-off and pick-up times. However, unique with our infant and toddler rooms, parents have the option to use an application called “Daily Connect” to receive real-time updates on feeding, naps, and play time activities! At Dawn of Discovery, we always have you and your child's best interests at heart. With passionate and nurturing teachers, we are able to provide the right amount of attention, guidance, and security for your family. For your piece of mind every staff member has completed and passed background checks. We welcome our regular visits by city and state officials verifying our attention to all state requirements are being met. If that wasn’t enough our frequent inspections by teachers also ensure no safety hazards exist. Finally, rest assured our secured entries on all doors provide the added security that NO unauthorized visitors are allowed in the building.
