TEF Custom Guitars & Repair offers handcrafted guitars made with pride. All guitars are personally built by Tom Foreman, each one handcrafted with the finest quality wood. Tom uses mostly woods grown in the USA, including cherry, walnut, poplar basswood and several others. Basswood is used for the tops of the guitars and has been found to have tone quality comparable to spruce at a fraction of the cost. Our hand crafted guitars start at $400 for a basic guitar with a custom fitted neck. The neck is custom fitted to your hand and is not something that can be made in a factory. Tom will custom build a guitar to your specifications. Depending on his workload, a guitar can take up to six weeks to build.
