We opened in 1986! At the time hurricane Gloria was headed our way. Instead of hurting us, it helped us. Due to the many blackouts in our area many people had no way of cooking, so they came out for lunch and dinner. Soon people started talking about the food and spreading the word about Casa Rusitca.
