Physical Therapy & Spine is the only McKenzie-based therapy clinic in the Chicago south suburbs that applies the McKenzie Method in its purist form (and only one of a few clinics in the state of Illinois). Current evidence-based research has proven that patients get better faster with the McKenzie Method compared to traditional physical therapy interventions. The hallmark of the McKenzie Method is empowering and teaching the patient how to treat and manage their pain with specific exercises and strategies. As the proverb says, instead of just "giving you a fish" we will teach you how to fish (and help yourself). At Physical Therapy & Spine, we utilize the McKenzie Method on all areas of the body, not just the lumbar and cervical spines.
