…AVEDA El Coco opened July 2014, after owners and Cape residents George and Victoria Kelloyan decided to open a sister salon to their Boston location, est. 1984 in Boston’s Faneuil Hall. Trained by Vidal Sassoon and Aveda, the two bring 30+ years of experience as Master Stylists and Colorists, and have trained and worked in London, Paris, New York, Denmark, and Miami. In the past 25 years, some of their more notable clients have included Fergie, Dr. Ruth, Chris Cooper, Lenny Clark, Christina Applegate, and most recently, the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s Amaluna, whom El Coco hosted for hair and makeup services before the show. Their 25-year devotion to AVEDA means that their staff is always trained in the latest techniques, whether that pertains to hair, skin care, or nail care, and that creativity is emphasized first and foremost on the salon floor. We offer full hair services, thorough facials and the gentlest waxing for your skin care needs, and full natural nail services. In addition, we offer a variety of pleasing and relaxing services for the gentlemen. We are an AVEDA lifestyle salon, which means that we exclusively use and sell AVEDA products, and exemplify the values of AVEDA: namely sustainability, diversity, and the environment. We’re open 7 days a week, including nights, by appointment or we happily accept walk-in guests, where time allows. We accept all major credit cards and personal checks and offer gift cards as well.
