"I have a passion for photography that started since I had my first camera. Born in Dayton, Ohio, I now call my home Clear Lake, Iowa. In 1987, I started my own company managing bands, but I had soon decided that I wanted to do photography full time. I started doing promotional shoots for bands and individual musicians and even ended up shooting some of their weddings." "I then started my own photography company, Photogenic, in Mason City. However, after being called to serve my country during desert shield and desert storm, I took a break from photography. In 2007, I reopened as PBD Photography by Darren in Clear Lake.
