Sheltering unwanted and homeless ferrets is the purpose of our existence at Oregon Ferret Shelter. Our ferret shelter’s goal is to care for all homeless ferrets until a new permanent loving home is found. Oregon Ferret Shelter is a 100% “no-kill” ferret shelter. No ferrets are euthanized due to lack of room. If you love ferrets, you can sponsor a special need ferret that remains in the care of the shelter for $10 a month. Our foster program allows an unusually geriatric or special needs ferret to go to a foster home for extra TLC while being financially supported by the shelter. You may also adopt a ferret, but we advise that you visit our website first and read useful information about ferrets to help you decide if the playful critter is the right pet for your home.
