The Lexington Assisted Living Center provides a residential environment to elderly individuals who need assistance with their activities of daily living but wish to maintain as much independence as possible. The Lexington features 98 apartment units and offers a full assortment of services. At The Lexington, we are devoted to providing clean, safe, attractive and affordable housing with a friendly and caring staff that treat all residents with dignity and respect. The Lexington Assisted Living Center is operated by partners who have had parents or loved ones in an assisted living facility. Their collective experiences inspired them to create an environment where elderly residents who can no longer live alone, can still maintain a lifestyle of dignity and independence for as long as possible. The Lexington has 98 apartments consisting of 94 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom units. Our community is staffed 24 hours a day every day. There are relaxing common areas throughout the building, including a library and living room with fireplace, a community room with a large screen television, and a sitting room with a television and fireplace. Residents can also enjoy a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, gazebo and wheelchair-accessible garden. The Lexington is equipped with a state-of-the-art emergency call system, therapeutic whirlpool bathtub, wellness center with exercise equipment and a general store that is operated by and for the residents. Our entrance is covered for safe entry and exit during inclement weather. Lexington is privately owned and our team consists of 55 licensed staff who have a positive attitude and strive to maintain a family-like atmosphere. Members in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, National Health Care Association, and the Nebraska Assisted Living Association, the Lexington Assisted Living Center is licensed by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and is Medicaid Waiver certified.
