The Cappella School of Music offers private and ensemble music lessons on all instruments and voice, to students of all ages and ability levels. Serving our community from the same location since 2005, Cappella offers outstanding music instruction, tailored to the needs of the individual student. Our exceptional faculty of teachers are either college trained or long-term, professional musicians who offer instruction in all styles of music from Baroque to contemporary pop and rock. In addition to guitar, piano, voice and drums, Cappella offers instruction on all strings and the horn, reed and woodwind band instruments. While our focus is on weekly private lessons and ensemble instruction, we also offer audition prep and voice coaching for singers, and Master Sessions for advanced students. For beginners, we offer free introductory lessons each month. Cappella hosts concert recitals for our students to showcase their abilities six times per year, with both solo and ensemble performances. Cappella also has long standing rock-band and musical theater programs. The school is open year round and, while students are encouraged to study with us all year, it is possible for students to start and stop studies to coordinate with their other activities. Cappella's Director and co-ordinator of programs is Geoff Hansplant, a musician / songwriter / recording artist with nearly forty years of musical experience and a Masters Degree in Education. Tuition at Cappella is paid on a month to month basis, with affordable rates based on the length of the individual student's weekly lesson. We accept personal checks and all major credit cards. Personal Power Martial Arts was founded by Master Ran Zohar in 1996 under the name All-American Taekwondo. The school quickly gained a reputation as the area’s leading martial arts school, producing many state, regional, national (AAU and USTU) and international martial arts champions. Through applying his expertise in creating elite athletes to working with young children, Master Zohar created a unique approach that inspires, educates and empowers students of all abilities to discover their own “personal power” and realize their full potential. The school’s name was changed to “Personal Power Martial Arts” in 2004 to better reflect the school's unique curriculum and emphasis on personal development and empowerment. The school operated at 1404 Peg Lane in Dresher from 1996 to 2009, when it moved to Flourtown, PA, moving back to its original Dresher location in 2013.
