At Whetstone Valley Stables we provide Christian based emotional health counseling working with families, couples, mental health issues, addictions, grief, anxiety, and post trauma. Our difference is we incorporate horses in our therapy. Horses are non-judgmental, in the moment, intuitive and pick up on non-verbal cues. This makes them useful for providing a trusting atmosphere which gets to the heart of issues faster and often provides an "aha" moment. Horses are also strong and intimidating which is useful in overcoming fears. We are governed and trained by EAGALA utilizing a proven method of EAP and EAL which is ground based with no riding, and utilizes two professionals to assure physical and emotional safety. We can also provide a unique team building experience.
