Got a coupon for this place on the DMV website. The total was of course more than what the coupon stated because of additional "fees," but still within reasonable range. My car did not pass the smog test, so the associate told me that I would probably have to get some work done to it and bring it back and this time it would only cost me $40 for the test. I referred the associate to the HUGE banner outside the premises stating "Pass or Free Retest." Why would I have to pay the $40? Well, the sign refers to the "labor" which is free, but the test itself would still cost me $4
