Of all the restaurants in Nacogdoches, this is my first choice. Although the atmosphere is uniqe and a bit rustic, the food is beyond compare. I have never eaten a bad steak there, and the onion rings are fabulous!! If you're in the mood for hush puppies, Clear Springs fries up the best. Tea is offered as "bottomless" with free refills and a cup to go if you wish. The staff is friendly, and sometimes we slip into the bar to eat if we want a little privacy.
