I%u2019m writing this review in hopes that other young, first-time homebuyers are not taken advantage of by a company like A-1 Foundation Crack Repair. I found the company through Service Magic, saw its positive ratings on BBB, and asked Rich (the owner) to come out for an estimate to 1) waterproof two corners with oakum and 2) remortar my fieldstone foundation as needed. We agreed that the plan was not to chisel out all existing mortar to replace (as that could have created larger issues) but did agree that all the loose mortar would be removed and fresh
