About

The SHiFT network, located in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, supports people in mid-life who seek greater meaning in life and work. Some of our members want “encore careers” that combine income and personal meaning with social impact. Others want to apply their experience and skill sets to civic agencies or non-profit organizations in exchange for a modest stipend. Still others may simply want to "give back" to the world as volunteers. Our mission is to provide the resources and support to achieve those visions.
