About
AquaCal is the largest manufacturer of swimming pool and spa heat pumps in the world. Established in 1981 and later sold to Team Horner in 1992, AquaCal makes several different brands/designs of heat pumps, utilizing heat energy from either the surrounding air or from a local ground water source. The 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The company has a nationwide sales team and large service staff covering the entire state of Florida, and parts of the Northeast, to provide field support for the pool heat pump industry. In 2006, AquaCal became AquaCal AutoPilot, Inc., which includes the AutoPilot Salt Chlorine Generator brand.
