Blake Medical Center is a designated Provisional Level II Trauma Center. For trauma patients who live south of Tampa Bay, every second counts. Studies show the sooner patients get to a designated trauma center, the better their chance for survival. For their families, there are no bridges to cross to be by their sides during treatment and recovery. They can stay in their community and receive the support they need. We’ve always offered advanced care in our Emergency Room. Now with exceptional trauma-trained staff, the emergency response power of EMS and our academic partnership with USF College of Medicine, it really is time for trauma care that is close to home.
