FAMILY OWNED SINCE 1959 In 1959 David established Dittmer Ditching. It was a very simple beginning…one handle-bar trencher. The emphasis was upon doing quality work. Over the years changes have naturally occurred. For the past 16 years his sons, Matthew and Patrick, have been working in the business and are now partners. From the simple beginning of the one handle-bar trencher, we now have a broad range of excavation equipment and do both residential and commercial work. Safety is a major concern in the excavation business, so we have trench shoring and other safety equipment to keep the men on the job site as safe as possible. Each one is trained in job safety and OSHA certified. David is an advocate of continuing education. Matthew, Patrick and David attend classes and seminars above and beyond what is required by regulation. This contributes to our updating of methods and awareness of the newest technology. Over 50 years of experience and commitment to quality goes into each job.
