The First Christian Church in Indiana is a mainline protestant congregation affiliated with the Disciples of Christ. Its distinguishing feature is communion every Sunday, and its minister, Jerry Hoch, is an excellent preacher who tends to emphasize daily living in adherence to Biblical teachings. Some focus is placed upon people in need of prayer. New attendees will find the congregation on the small side %u2013 normally 50 to 70 each Sunday.
