My husband and I visit Summit County regularly. Our favorite place to ride horses is most definitely Copper Mountain Stables! This year, they are operating out of Aspen Canyon Ranch, about 30 minutes north of Silverthorne. It was well worth the trip out there. The ranch is great, the people are friendly and knowledgeable, and the horses are awesome! We were even able to trott and lope around on the ride. You can't beat the breath-taking landscape and wildflowers.
