Do not buy this product! I bought the SGS 5000 for an new built pool. Chlorinator is sized for a 70,000 gal. pool and installed it on a 39,000 gal. Here in the Southwest summer temps are high resulting in the need for more chlorine usage so I oversized the unit to handle the chlorine demand. Did the usual startup with chlorine until water levels were stable and then turned on the unit. Ran the chlorinator constantly checking levels and found it never could keep up with demand.
