I was a client at Battlefield Veterinary Clinic for at least 25 years. On 8/15/08, I had an appointment to have my Chihuahua, Tawny, euthanized. She had been in liver failure for several weeks, and as heartbreaking as it was… it was time. I had asked to see Dr. Bailey, but was told Dr. Swenson was the only vet available. Not wanting to risk Tawny getting worse over the weekend, I made the appointment with Dr. Swenson. When I arrived, Dr. Swenson said she would have to give Tawny a “heavy sedation” shot in her muscle, so Tawny would be perfectly still for the euthanas
