For folks who know authentic Thai cuisine, this take-out oasis is a chart-topper. The voluminous menu provides ample choice, and as a result, Bai Mai Thai does a land office grab-and-go business. To start, our vote goes to the Golden Shrimp Rolls with ground chicken and Fried Fish Cake, which comes with the most divine peanut plum sauce EVER. Bai Mai's soups are great favorites, too, and they're so rich with veggies, chicken, shrimp or mixed seafood, they can easily serve as a full meal. The Thai salads and noodle entrees are wonderful as well, especially the Grilled Shrimp Yum Thai Salad and Pad Thai Curry Noodles. Snapper, catfish, scallops and duck are amply represented on the menu, as is an appetizing roster of curries, rice stir-fries and vegetarian options. Got a big thirst? Bai Mai's Thai Ice Tea or Iced Coffee is just the thing. And for dessert, the chef makes a tradition Thai Custard topped with fried onions that may sound funky but it's actually fabulous!
