purchased a 30 year old home recently in carlsbad. my realtor recommended senspec. the inspector was very knowledgeable, well informed about local concerns and easy to understand. he asked us to follow him during his inspection and pointed many conditions minor and not so minor. he showed us how and where to turn the utilities on and off. his verbal report was excellent not only telling us the deficiencies but what they meant. i highly recommend senspec and bill van tassel in particular. the written report was concise, thorough and easy to understand.
