I had strep throat and do not have a family doctor as I just moved to Arvada. I have insurance but since they were "Urgent Care" they bill as an outpatient instead of as an office visit. This is a big deal if you have insurance. It was going to cost $175.00 strep test. An office visit would only cost $25.00. I went there during regular office hours and I did not think I was going to have to pay Emergency Room prices. The staff was not helpful and not very friendly.
