I have an electric stove at a tenants house that wasn't turning on so I called Ace Appliance to see how much the estimate would cost and they quoted me $30. The contractor met up with my tenants the next morning and told them the stove was fine but we had to call an electrician instead. I wasn't able to meet up with the contractor due to work but I had informed the tenants that the estimate was $30. But when I got the receipt, the charge was $40 instead of $30 for the estimate.
