Our mission at Boulder CycleSport is to provide the highest level of customer service and to offercycling products we trust and use ourselves. Whether you are a firsttime rider, recreational enthusiast or an elite-level racer, BoulderCycle Sport strives to be the foremost resource for all your cyclingneeds. Two University of Colorado graduates, Taro Smith andBrandon Dwight, founded Boulder Cycle Sport in January 2005 in order toprovide a community-based bike shop for all levels of cyclists. Since themid-Nineties, Taro and Brandon have been avid cyclists and competitiveracers. Taro holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in the areas ofStress and Exercise Physiology and a Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology. His professional background includes the development of exercise modelsof rehabilitation as well as product development and marketing work forvarious medical and fitness companies. He also conducts research in thefields of exercise physiology and immunology. Brandon graduated from theUniversity of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiologyin 1995 and was a nationally ranked professional mountain bike racerfrom 1999 to 2002. Today he ranks as one of the top cyclocross racers inthe country and is the 2007 U.S. Cyclocross National Champion for theMaster's 35-39 category. With a combined 30 years of pedaling inBoulder, Brandon and Taro have deep roots and a vast knowledge ofBoulder’s cycling community.

Every time I go in to Boulder Cycle Sport I get treated with a friendly hello and a smile. There is no attitude and I always get my questions answered and what I need. There are a lot of great shops in town, but the friendly vibe here really stands out.
