"Dr. Roy Silver was originally born in Tel Aviv, Israel and grew up most of his life in Los Angeles. He received his bachelors degree with honors from Brandeis University in only three years.Dr. Roy Silver was originally born in Tel Aviv, Israel and grew up most of his life in Los Angeles. He received his bachelors degree with honors from Brandeis University in only three years. His training began at New York University Downtown Hospital and he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas where he was selected as chief resident in his fourth year of training. He was awarded the Resident of the Year and Laparoscopic Surgeon of the Year in his second year of training. He was honored to be selected as a Rutledge Fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at MD Anderson Medical Center during his third year of residency. Dr. Silver won the Annual Fourth Year Resident Paper Day with his work on Argon Beam coagulation. With a practice on the edge of Beverly Hills at Cedars Sinai and an office in downtown Los Angeles, Dr. Silver has been handling the medical needs of Los Angeles residents from all over the city and the Valley. Dr. Silver is Board Certified and a member of the Center of Excellence at Cedars Sinai for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgery. "
