Soon after, they opened another retail store in Janesville now managed by Sue Hale. Back then all the satellites being sold were 10 feet tall and costed about $4000. In 1992 the 18 inch satellite dish arrived making it easier to install and more affordable for residential consumers. Tom Prochnow partnered with Bill and Gary in 2004 then they opened another retail store in Middleton Wisconsin. Their business started growing rapidly. Now Star Satellite is rated #1 by both Dish Network and DirecTV within the Wisconsin area. We sell and install over 100 satellite systems a month.
