Not only did my project take 10 times longer than expected, but they are trying to charge me another $5,000 before completing the project. I did not make any changes to the original plans, they just want to squeeze me for more money. They even ask for 50% up front which is ridiculous. Now they are threatening to put a lien on my house unless I pay them this additional fee that they made up. Ask them to sign a bulletproof contract before starting work. I guarantee they run away.
