I responded to an ad in eBay about a generator that was tested and ready to install. He claimed it had 1600 hours but the one he gave me had over 2400 hrs as he said the hour meter was broken. But he said, don't worry, this is a good machine and it will work just fine". I traded in my generator (same model) and paid $3500 cash.
