I help my counseling clients discover the underlying causes of patterns and behaviors that no longer work for them, and provide new, more productive alternatives.  My approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy, an evidence-based approach supported by research. In counseling couples seeking to improve their relationships or marriages, I use a variety of techniques, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples.  My first goal is to stop any negative behaviors that may be causing distress, and then begin working on re-building the strengths of the relationship.   More information on my approaches to therapy can be found at my website.
