I don't venture out often to new places, like to wait for others to be the test pilots, but luckily I was invited to dine at Jackson St. Tavern and fell madly in love. I'm so tired of chain restaurants that all taste the same and don't seem to follow the seasons and what is in the garden. This place embodies what dining should be, an evolving , up-scale yet unpretentious, and unexpectedly playful menu.
