Peter R. Dumas, M.D. is board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine ??Dr. Dumas was born in Bensalem Pennsylvania. He graduated from undergraduate school in 1977, and continued his education and training in medicine until 1988 when he entered private practice in Venice Florida. He is married with four children, two of whom have also entered the healthcare field. Dr. Dumas believes in holistic healthcare and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to all his patients. His non-medical interests include organic gardening, reading, cooking, bicycling, yoga, strength-training, and spending time with his family. Dr. Dumas maintains staff privileges at Venice Hospital and courtesy privileges at Englewood Community Hospital. His private office is located off Jacaranda Blvd. in Health Park, but he performs many special procedures at Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center on Venice Avenue
