Received a verbal estimate for new hot water heater. Billed $50 over estimate. No rational reason provided for going over estimate on a simple installation. As a fair effort to resolve, I send a nice letter with payment for the original estimate plus half of the disputed amount. Received unsigned and rude note back saying I still owe balance. Beware if they will do this for a simple job, they will do more of this type overcharging for a larger project.
