My family and I had a terrible experience with the veterinarian here. During hurricane sandy , while the town of Huntington was dealing with power outages for 2 weeks, pets dying from the cold, they were opened not to help, but to take advantage of desperate people and their sick pets. Something as disastrous as Hurricane Sandy usually brings the best out in people. In the case of the vet here, it brought out blood sucking greed.
