The just-opened Sweet Grapes Wine Bar at 39 Essex St. is a comfortable place to get away from the bustle outside. There is plenty of vintage charm inside from the stamped tin ceiling and warm original brick wall behind the bar to an antique cash register. There is even a small stage for live music and a wall for future gallery displays. Owner/Manager Nick Noga personally designed and built the interior with an eye toward patrons who want a break from their busy day.
