The Athletic Playground has a dynamically unique philosophy unlike any usual fitness studio or gym available today.  We have a profound emphasis on mind-body awareness, using functional, organic movements.  We focus on simple, basic movements with ideal alignment and posture for each individual. The entire body is engaged in every activity, improving kinesthetic awareness as well as motor skills (balance, reflexes, flexibility, agility, power, strength, and endurance).  Playful Individual and Semi-Personal Training sessions as well as our group classes inspire a “fun”, supportive, noncompetitive, yet highly motivating community oriented workout environment! Our studio evokes a nostalgic childlike playfulness, with lively training sessions, games, classes, and unique, fun, colorful, equipment to facilitate a stress free, exciting physical fitness retreat from the hectic rat race of everyday life.  All this while simultaneously improving athletic performance, boosting self-esteem and confidence of any individual, and actually having “fun” doing it!
