Flancer's has a well-deserved reputation around Gilbert for their home-made bread used for a variety of unique sandwiches and wait until you try the pizza! And just because it has tiny prices, don't be fooled into thinking that this is your average sandwich shop! With a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., Flancer's sandwiches, salads, burgers and pasta showcase its owner's serious culinary skills with a nod to the flavors of the Southwest. The restaurant hosts numerous activities for worthy causes throughout the year. The biggest is a weeklong series of events, raffles and auctions every April, capped by a popular pizza-eating contest, to raise money for injured U.S. soldiers.
