About a year ago I was here visiting friends in San Francisco and they suggested we go across the bay to Oakland to check out Frank Black at the Uptown. Oakland? yea of course I had my apprehensions but we took BART over and it was great! No problems. I couldn't believe how beautiful this place was and the sound was excellent. We had so much fun that night. Its a very comfortable place and the drinks are pretty big for what you pay. The best part was getting to meet Frank Black.
