We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance.  Hospice is a Medicare, Medicaid, and most major medical insurance benefit.  Journey Hospice provides all medications, supplies, and equipment related to their patients' hospice diagnosis.  Journey Hospice  takes care of individuals in their homes~ where ever that may be (nursing home, assisted living facility or private residence).   DID YOU KNOW:  Hospice is not just for cancer patients?  Hospice is a benefit for anyone with a terminal diagnosis; such as:  end-stage COPD, CHF, CAD, Liver or Kidney disease/failure, AIDS, Cancer, and many others.  DID YOU KNOW: Patients can be on hospice services for more than six months?  The Hospice Benefit has two 90 day recertification periods (which equals 6 months) and unlimited 60 day recertification periods.  As long as a patient's hospice team determines that the patient has a probability of death within the next 6 months from each recertification period; the recertification periods are limitless.
