im and Teresa Adams have been married since 1985; they have 4 children, Jimmie IV and Madison, Jeremy and Elizabeth. Jim was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Teresa in Tupelo, MS. Jim is a 1984 graduate of Delta State University, (B.A. Marketing) and Teresa is a 1985 graduate of Mississippi University for Women (B.S. Food and Nutrition) and 2007 Reformed Theological Seminary (M.A. Marriage and Family Therapy). Teresa works as a behavioral therapist and as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), certified mental health specialist (CMHT), and a national certified counselor,(NCC) Jim serves as a Marriage and Family Director in a local church in Jackson, MS and is a certified Christian Financial Counselor and Certified Smalley Marriage Coach. The Adams’ are passionate about Marriage and the Family. They are sought after speakers and group facilitators and the Co-founders of Family Matters First, Inc.
