One year ago I purcchased a Trane furnace from Conway and was very satisfied with the installation. Two weeks ago I found that my A/C unit was not working, and as it is a Trane unit which they had checked when installing the furnace I called Conway to diagnnose the problem. Two service technicians arrived and found that a wire had been cut when I cleaned the compressor/coil unit. They charged me $220.00 to repair the wire, which was a 14 gauge electrical size. The spliced the wire in two places. The wire should have been replaced instead of spliced in the first place.
