Our matrimonial practice is devoted to giving clients excellence in representation. Sometime our "free" consultations go on for hours, if necessary, and the staff makes you feel as though you are sitting in your own home. Compassion is the word of the day on that consolation. You are treated with respect and dignity. We often joke that our conference table is the "table of tears" as the our tissue box order is quite high. I believe treating humans under these devastating conditions is critical to getting them back on their fee. My experience is listed above but compassion, it must be handed out graciously to those who need it. Yes, I am a former ADA, yes I am a former Law Guardian, yes, I have extensive trial experience and I focus on nothing but matrimonial law. But I am an equal to others, not some "hot shot" attorney or someone who will make anyone feel uncomfortable. Trust must be built slowly.
