I had the pleasure of taking a trip with my son Chris yesterday to a new winery (Blue Ostrich)recently opened in the foothills of the Red River Valley. Chris has known Pat for a number of years in a different medium. The trip there was spectacular once we got out of the Dallas area driving North toward Oklahoma. There were hills and dales and a field of turbines which was a site to see in itself. I met Pat and Julie (owners) and Julie's dad at the Blue Ostrich Winery/Vinyards. The original building once housed Ostrichs that were raised by Julie's father. The
