Welcome to Meathead Movers of Orange County! Of all the California counties that Meathead Movers has the pleasure of serving, Orange County is the one that we are most looking forward to exploring more of as we continue to do more and more moves there. This relatively small, but densely populated, county has several characteristics that intrigue us: it's blend of rich agricultural history, cattle running, culturally defining amusement parks, intricately planned communities and home to many movers and shaker who build these communities and run the large companies headquartered in the OC. We do quite a bit of moving in Southern Orange County. Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo, Irvine and Anaheim have all seen the sleek black Meathead Movers trucks rolling down their wide, manicured streets. Our student-athlete movers enjoy getting to drive by all the well known landmarks like the Crystal Cathedral and Huntington Beach Pier, as well as the consistently warm weather--perfect for moving! If you are moving to Orange County, you have a lot to look forward to. World class shopping at South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island and the Irvine Spectrum, fine dining all along the coast (we particularly like Javier's and Maestro's), and flawless beaches like Salt Creek and Crystal Cove. You really can have a perfect day in Orange County by stocking up on picnic supplies at Bristol Farms in Corona Del Mar (maybe stop by Sprinkles for a coconut cupcake and Tommy Bahamas for a straw hat), heading out to Salt Creek, and taking a long walk gazing up at the gorgeous beach homes, and finishing at the St. Regis Monarch Beach with a cocktail on the veranda (keep your eyes peeled for a Real Housewife pulling up to the valet in her Bentley!). If you are looking for a little less glossy of an experience, there's always the delicious and authentic Mexican food and shops in downtown Santa Ana or the delicate flavors of real Vietnamese food in Little Saigon. Another facet of Orange County that makes it a tempting place to move to is an abundance of major corporations that have chosen the area as their headquarters. Gateway, Linksys, Quiksilver, In-n-Out, Taco Bell, St. John, and Ingram Micro all call this county home, providing many head-of-household jobs, which is why we move so many people to Orange County. When county residents are not working, they can enjoy what defines Orange County to the rest of the world: Disneyland! If you aren't into fairy tales, magical moments, talking mice and dueling pirates, there's plenty more to enjoy in Orange County: Pageant of the Masters occurs each summer in Laguna Beach and is a sight to behold. There's also Laguna's monthly arts walk, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, the carousel on Balboa Island and Mission San Juan Capistrano to explore as well!
