Matthews Owner Starting with one store front in Vacaville, we opened our first Woodland location in 1993. Then opened a store in Elk Grove in 1996 and relocated it to Davis in 2004. We recently added our Roseville location in 2005 and our second Woodland store in 2006. All three of our newest locations in Roseville, Woodland and Davis feature our designer showrooms. From one location to six from “plain Jane” showrooms to designer showrooms, and a sales volume and staff six times the size we started with, I’ve realized owning and running a business is a lot harder then it looked in 1990. I am grateful the Sacramento, Solano and Yolo areas have supported my business and family, fortunate in my great sales and support staff ~ some with me from the beginning, and thankful for every customer who found Matthews Mattress the place to buy.
