We lived in courtyard apartments for only 9 months and in that time they went through 3 apartment managers. When we moved in the apartment was not correctly cleaned and we found pills, diabetic trash and a syringe under the stove. We did not want to be fussy and made no big deal of these things. There were some pluses such as the maintenance man was great at his job and the neighbors on our floor were always respectful of each other. Upon checkout the manager said everything was great and I signed off on the walkout with her. When we got our check back it was only for 136
