Rolfing Structural Integration works with the fascia (also called connective tissue). The connective tissue is a thin, elastic, semifluid membrane that envelops every muscle, bone, blood vessel, nerve, and organ. Rolfing releases restrictions and adhesions in the connective tissue to allow the body to be balanced in gravity and regain freedom of movement and flexibility. Freeing the connective tissue also releases body pain. When I’m working on someone’s body I’m not focused on a single part, I’m actually working your body as a whole.
