About
BBD Automotive is a locally owned and operated auto repair center by Brett Bailey-Dodge. Brett, a Vermont native, started his career in the Marine Corp repairing Harrier Jump Jets. He loved Eastern North Carolina and New Bern and decided to stay once he was out of the military. Brett worked for several area dealers and repair shops in Craven County. While working for other shops, Brett decided that he wanted to open his open repair business so that customers would be treated right and the customer would not be over charged for repair work. In 2002 Brett opened BBD Automotive. BBD Automotive is your one stop auto repair and service center...from tires to oil changes, to minor repairs to engine overhauls...BBD Automotive can do it all!

Strongly recommend NEVER taking your vehicle to this place. VERY dishonest and deceiving practices. They state that they give a 10% military discount, but then they only gave a 5% on part and 5% on labor (this was only a 5% discount of the total). When asked about this the owner (Brett) stated "Tough - that is all I am going to give you. I do not have to give you anything!" He is correct, but then do not tell members of the military that you give them a 10% discount. Very dishonest and misleading! Also, the bill was outrageous!
