I was looking for a new church and after searching Carlsbad, I found a few that looked promising. I went to Discover Life first (actually because it was the easiest to get too). I decided not to check out my other church choices. I knew right away, I was in the right place. It's a very modern church; they have a very upbeat contemporary band and the dress code is casusal. The Word is delivered in a way I can understand it. I felt the pastor there helped me to connect with God during the service. This is a good church to go to.
